The fabled race is back this Sunday, April 2! It's Craftsbury groomer Keith Woodward's favorite race (he also doubles as course designer and chief organizer). The exact course is TBD as the day draws nigh, but the plan is that you'll start your day on our ski trails with ~9k freestyle, followed by ~5 miles of running, a ~5 mile paddle, capped with a 12mi bike on lovely Kingdom dirt roads in mud season. 10:00am start.
Enter online via SkiReg, registration opens Monday, March 13.
Race weekend, only the cabins will be available (no meals included). Adding to the offseason lodging rate bargain? Craftsbury houseguests race the Mud n' Ice for FREE - email us for a code to enter at checkout.
$30 until reg closes April 1, 7:00pm
$60 until reg closes April 1, 7:00pm
DOR is available, with an additional $10 fee/person (e.g. team of three would pay another $30 to DOR).
Teams can be any size from 2-5 people - pricing remains the same!
What boat can I use? Whatever you want that's human powered. Results will not be broken out by boat category, though creative/hard-core options will earn our respect.
It's our intention to include lunch with your entry, but stay tuned for details on this. Awards kick off at 2:00pm. Overall awards, plus age/gender groups for solo (though we reserve the right to combine categories in the event of low turnout).
Keep checking the Craftsbury website for updates and current information, as well the current snow report. Still have questions? Ask Keith W. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
