2010 Craftsbury Tour Postponement News
17.Feb.2010 We will be running the postponed Tour on Sunday, March 7. Tourers who did not compete in the 25k race on the 30th are already registered. For all other interested skiers, we have reopened online registration at $75/adult and $25/kid up to February 28. After the 28th, the event price will jump to $95 for adults and $30 for kids up to day of event.
The postponed tour is planned as a point to point tour starting at Highland Lodge. Skiers will park here at the Center, register, and be bussed from the Center to Highland Lodge. Tourers will breakfast there from 8:00, then starting between 9:00 and 10:00 follow the course to the Craftsbury Village, stopping on the way at the Craftsbury Road crossing food station, followed by a two course feed stop at the Craftsbury Inn and the Craftsbury General store in the village, and finishing at the Center with a continuous lunch served in the yurt from 12:00-4:00.
If the conditions are not safe, we will decide by Wednesday the 3rd whether to switch the course to the Center Trails. Keep watching the website for more details and maps.
