2010 US Nationals Ski-O results
23.Feb.2010 Drowned out in recent hubbub has been the Ski Orienteering Championships, that took place a weekend or so ago (February 12-15). The Center hosted the Long Distance Championships for the US on Sunday the 14th, and quite a few Craftsbury members participated.
Craftsbury Weekend results:
Middle Distance, Marshfield, VT, Saturday, February, 13: 1st Kestrel Owens, green course, 13 controls 1st Adrian Owens, blue course, 19 controls
Long Distance, Craftsbury Center, Sunday, February, 14: (All results below are non championship events, as CNSC members have a home course advantage).
Green course, 9 controls 1st Kestrel Owens 1st female, Melanie Sergiev
Red course, 13 controls 1st Eric Hanson 1st female Allison Van Akkeren 2nd female Pat Driscoll
Blue course, 16 controls 1st Keith Woodward
Sprint, Chester, VT, Monday, February, 15: 1st Adrian Owens (second to the coursesetter, but coursesetter's time was removed due to HCA rule).
You can find complete results here, and check out the splits you can access from the same page. This event was e-timed which means that you can view splits for all competitors from location to location along with their rankings for the individual split as well. Wicked cool. The same page also contains the maps the competitors were issued immediately prior to starting the event.
