Volunteer Meeting
07.Sep.2010 We have a big winter planned: hosting an TD Bank NENSA Eastern Cup weekend, the TD Bank Marathon, Vermont High School State Championships, the Marathon Tour, plus a full slate of other events for the season. Want to be a part of the excitement? Here's your chance! We're looking for volunteers to help us welcome the ski world to your home trail system at the Center.
Volunteering can take many different forms, from timing races, feeding athletes, first aid, course setup - the exact tasks vary from race to race. A volunteer team member is a critical part of any successful event: you are right next to the action, sharing your favorite trails with the rest of the community. Depending on the level of responsibility and volunteer involvement, team members are also eligible for more tangible benefits too!
So how do you become involved? Start by coming to our Volunteer Orientation on Monday night, September 20 at the Touring Center. We'll have a bite to eat around 6:30pm. At 7pm, we'll be offer more details of the upcoming winter events and volunteer openings available, volunteer team member benefits, and training opportunities. Please RSVP to volunteers@craftsbury.com if you'll be joining us, or call 802-586-7767 and leave John Brodhead a message. While we prefer an RSVP, don't hesitate to stop by that evening as well - we'll happily welcome you.
