CNSC at Championships29.Feb.2008 It's nearly March and the end of the season brings several new challenges for the skiers in the Craftsbury Nordic Ski Club. Dartmouth Freshman and CNSC athlete Ida Sargent is currently at Jr. World Championships, where she's netted a 12th place this past Saturday in the sprint, as well as 20th in the 5k Classic event and 36th in the 10k Freestyle. The sprint and 10k finish were pacesetters for the American team. The championships ended on Thursday, Feb. 28 in Malles, Italy, after being moved from snowless Szczyrk, Poland. Running simultaneously to the Junior Championships are the U23 Worlds as well - with Elsa Sargent qualifying for the US worlds' team as well. Domestically, the Junior Olympic Team selections were named this weekend, with several CNSC members making the team. This year's JO selections include: Alex Schulz This year's competition will be held in Anchorage, AK, March 9-15.
