Summer trails open
10.Jun.2009 The core Craftsbury ski trails are now open for non-motorized summer use. Whether you're mountain biking, trail running, or bird watching, you can take advantage of core trails and singletrack at the Center.
Just as in the winter, all trails start at the Touring Center. Singletrack is marked with a red or blue blaze, while ski trails open for summer use include:
Race Loop Lemon's Haunt Bailey Hazen and Bailey via Cutoff Limited sections of Ruthie's Run (west of the Black River)
Closed trails/intersections are roped off for ease of navigation. It's through landowner generosity that we have the winter use of the remainder of the trail system and your summertime cooperation goes a long way to maintaining those relationships.
Craftsbury members have FREE trail use as part of their member benefits, as do Craftsbury and Albany residents. Others will need to pay a $5/day trail access fee.
Need a bike to ride on the trails or the beautiful back roads? You can rent Gary Fisher mountain bikes as well as other brands from the Touring Center for an hour or up to several weeks! This is another instance where members will receive a discount - see all the rental rates here. Membership application Rental rates
