The Art House
The Art House Gallery and School is a center for community and the arts in Craftsbury Common, Vermont. In addition to a fine arts gallery and artisan gift shop, we teach classes and hold public events. Class and event schedules are planned for creative people of all ages and posted on our website, www.vermontarthouse.org. Activities include a young children's creative play group, morning art classes for elementary-aged home school students, afterschool activities for middle and high school students, and painting, drawing, and felting classes for adults. Events include book signings, dramatic readings, and brick oven pizza and music nights.
Craftsbury General Store
The Craftsbury General Store strives to accommodate the needs of the greater community and all of its seasonal visitors. We feature products from many of our area farms ranging from local beef to raw honey. Our ever-growing array of products made or grown locally is a large part of our store and something we feel very strongly about. Our deli incorporates many of these items in our daily menu. We are the closest off-campus lodging to the Outdoor Center, just 1.2mi south on Mill Village Road. This small, quiet B&B is a beautifully renovated farmhouse (c.1860) and combines classic Vermont architecture with modern comfort.
