Front Desk Reservationist

The Craftsbury Outdoor Center is looking for someone to join their office team!

The ideal applicant should have strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to multi-task and adjust to a changing, fast paced environment. Knowledge of Word and Excel are required along with 1 year of customer service experience preferably in the reservations/front desk field.

The position available is from 11am – 7pm in the winter and 12pm – 8pm in the summer consisting of 3 weekdays and 1 weekend day (Saturday).

Lunch and recreational facilities provided along with other benefits.

 Experienced Ski Instructor

The qualified candidate should be able to instruct in both skate and classic technique, have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. This is a part to full time position, including weekends.

Experienced Nordic Center Kitchen Coordinator

The qualified candidate should have good customer service and organizational skills, the ability to schedule, delegate and work closely with the Nordic Center team. The current menu consists of however, is not limited to soups, chili, salads, sandwiches and baked goods. This is a full time seasonal position, including weekends.

Experienced Housekeeping Coordinator

The qualified candidate should have at least 3 years of housekeeping experience, ideally in housekeeping management along with excellent organization and communication skills. Duties include scheduling, training, ordering supplies, room checks, with an eye for detail and overseeing all cleaning. This is a full time position that includes Friday's and Sunday's.

Green Racing Project Rowing Coach

Craftsbury is looking for an inquisitive and innovative rowing coach to guide the athletes of its elite rowing program: the Green Racing Project. Of particular importance:

  • Experience working with small boats and sculling
  • Desire to help each athlete develop to their fullest potential
  • Interest in current research and best practices
  • Knowledge of exercise physiology as well as rowing technique
  • Excellent communication skills both with athletes and other coaches

The GRP Coach will be a member of the team at Craftsbury that manages Sculling Camps, Community programming, and SBTC, and will be involved with those programs as well. It is also expected that the coach will become an integral part of the Craftsbury Outdoor Center community and will support its mission and many non-rowing activities. This is a full-time year-round position.
