Inspired by the youth hostels and folk schools of Europe, Elderhostel is an independent, non-profit organization offering short term academic experiences to people who have reached the eligible age of 55.
Craftsbury
The Craftsbury Outdoor Center hosts weeklong cross-country ski programs during the winter months. We combine cross-country skiing with an additional course that is always interesting and fun. Elderhostel has been an integral part of the Craftsbury Outdoor Center since 1981.
