Spring/Summer Ergo Circuit Classes
Center members are invited to join us in this multi-movement fitness activity. Increase endurance, strength and flexibility using different apparatus and free weights. Learn to row on an indoor rowing ergometer and double pole on a Concept 2 ski trainer. Best of all, this activity is FREE to Craftsbury members!
When: Mondays and Thursdays promptly from 5:30 – 6:30 pm, beginning May 3, 2010. (Note the change for the warm months)
Where: Craftsbury Outdoor Center weight room (downstairs of Cedar Lodge).

Hosmer Rowing Club Programming
For over the past ten years, Craftsbury has offered area youth the opportunity to scull on a regular basis over the summer with its Hosmer Youth Rowing Club. In 2010, we're expanding this programming to include members from age 12 to masters, and all abilities and levels of experience are welcome!
Beginning May 11, the 2010 edition of the Hosmer Sculling Club will meet Tuesdays and Fridays at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center's Boathouse on Big Hosmer Pond. Sessions will continue until the early fall. Read complete information here - www.craftsbury.com/HRC.

5k Trail Running Series
Join us for a weekly 5k trail running series Wednesday nights all summer long! Kids race at 6pm, open race at 6:15. Three different courses will be used alternating each week (15 weeks total). Prizes at the last race of the series for overall points scored. Come enjoy the Northeast Kingdom and the Center's fabulous trails in the summer months too! $5 entry fee per racer or $40 for the whole series. Talk to the GRP's Tim Reynolds for more details.

2010-11 Volunteer Team Orientation
We have a big winter planned: hosting an TD Bank NENSA Eastern Cup weekend, the TD Bank Marathon, Vermont High School State Championships, the Marathon Tour, plus a full slate of other events for the season. Want to be a part of the excitement? Here's your chance! We're looking for volunteers to help us welcome the ski world to your home trail system at the Center, and you can find out more at this meeting. Bite to eat at 6:30, presentation begins at 7pm. Fall Foliage
The evenings are getting cooler, the nighttime comes earlier and earlier, and the first hints of color dapple some of the forest - fall is on its way.
Craftsbury celebrates the arrival of the cooler seasons by offering special rates and activities. Beginning September 17 until October 16th, the Center will be offering Fall Foliage rates as low as $64/night/person. These reduced Foliage rates will include breakfast, access to our on-site facilities, and lots of self-guided or the daily guided activity of the day. Read more details here.

Three Lakes Tour
A new event we're offering this year to 50 participants: paddle, kayak or scull Lake Willoughby, Crystal Lake, and Big Hosmer Pond in one day. Over 20 miles of paddling possible in this untimed event. A portion of your entry supports the Green Mountain United Way's Northeast Kingdom Food Shelves. Event begins at 7am. Read full details.

Yoga and Sculling Camp 3

Performance Training for Master Skiers
A long weekend camp of training opportunities and information for serious masters skiers that will make you faster this season as well as into the future. 30th Annual TD Bank Craftsbury Marathon
Mark your calendars - the 30th Marathon will be the last Saturday in January 2011. The Craftsbury Marathon is the premier ski event of the east: a twenty five kilometer loop-course, classic technique ski marathon, traversing Vermont's spectacular Northeast Kingdom.
