Road Scholar at Craftsbury

Inspired by the youth hostels and folk schools of Europe, Road Scholar (formerly Elderhostel) is an independent, non-profit organization offering short term academic experiences to adults.

Craftsbury

The Craftsbury Outdoor Center has hosted weeklong Road Scholar cross-country ski programs during the winter months since 1981, with programming other seasons of the year throughout those years as well. We currently combine paddling or cross-country skiing (depending on the season) with an additional course that is always interesting and fun. Since being reorganized as a non-profit in the fall of 2008, the Center's mission has expanded. You can read more about the mission or find out more about our current Road Scholar schedule.
