GRP strikes Vermont gold at Green Mountain Head Regatta

The rowers kicked off the fall head racing season this past weekend at the Green Mountain Head Regatta in Putney, Vermont. The race is put on by the Putney Rowing Club and officiated by Graeme King, one of the top boatmakers in the country. The race has a unique vibe, always three weeks before the Head of the Charles with trailer parking in a corn field by the Connecticut River. The race is 5k long with two 90-degree turns halfway through to bring crews back to the start/finish line.
