A program for kids who have skied a season or two and are interested in getting a bit more instruction and technique work. This is a good group for kids interested in doing some BKL races, the BKL festival, as well as just having fun and developing skills through play. Group will be coached by Zach Russo with help of GRP members. Limited equipment available for those without, but those going to the festival and racing should take advantage of our season rental option.
Kids 13 & up, meets 4x/week (Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, Saturday and Sunday mornings), $150/end of November to May. Training for experienced skiers, 2nd year J3's through 18 year olds who want a competitive focus. Training will prepare skiers to race High School races, Eastern Cups, Junior Olympic Qualifiers, Eastern High School and J2 Championships. This group will be coached by Zach Russo, with assistance as needed from Pepa.
Groups of kids from area schools can come ski for free on our professionally maintained trails through our school groups program. Equipment and introductory instruction is also provided free of charge. Helping promote Nordic skiing and making it accessible to the local public is an important part of our mission. School teachers and administrators are encouraged to contact us to learn more about this great opportunity.

Adult Recreational Ski Group
We plan to continue a winter program that was new last winter; recreational skiing for masters. Starting in January (stay tuned for date and times), the group will meet on a weekday afternoon for about an hour. Before setting out on the tour, participants will be lead through some drills, instruction, or given a focus or theme for the day. Each day's route will be determined by the conditions, participant abilities and the skier's energy on a given day. There will be a primary leader of the group, with guest appearances by a variety of Center staff through the winter.
The group is free for members. Not a member? Find out more about Center membership here.
