2015 Junior Summer Ski Camp
August 3-7, 2015
We're excited to offer this summer's Junior Ski Camp for U16-20 skiers (born in 2001 and earlier).
Skiers will be doing two workouts a day, with rollerskiing, running, weight and circuit training, technique work, biking, canoeing, kayaking, biathlon, and sculling. This year's camp will again include a time trial run up Elmore Mountain in Elmore State Park. This run has been used in the regional and national elite camps we've hosted the past several years for skiers to benchmark their fitness. Green Racing Project skiers will be doing this and most other workouts with the kids, staying the night as counselors, and sharing their experiences and knowledge in evening talks. Lodging and meals will be at the Outdoor Center.
In addition to the work will be play! Campers will have daily time to relax and unwind in between sessions, whether that's hanging out at the waterfront, lounging with a book, or picnicking and swimming in Lake Elmore after the run. Days close with relaxing activities like movies, campfires, or dances.
- Non-Members - $400
