Camper Profile: Susan and Michael Henderson
A two for one camper profile this month as we visit with running couple Susan and Michael Henderson. With intense jobs as a doctor and a nurse, running is more than just a physical activity for these avid athletes, it bonds them as a couple. Read more.

Craftsbury Coach Jess Cover talks Marathon Preparation
Last week, Craftsbury Running Coach Jess Cover was on the local CBS affiliate, WCAX, talking about marathon training in advance of the KeyBank Vermont City Marathon, May 27. Find the video from the interview here.

New Running Programs for 2012
Have you noticed all the new running programming this summer? While we've been offering running camps since the early Reagan years, 2012 offers what we think is our biggest selection of program options ever, with three entirely new programs and one program that is only a year old to go with our stalwart camp options. Find out more about all our camp offerings for 2012, including our new Yoga&Running, Fall Foliage weekends, and High School Cross-Country Camp - full details.

New American Club Record for Craftsbury Camper
Judith Tripp of New York City, a long time Craftsbury runner, competed in the mile relay at the venerable Millrose Games track meet in New York City on February 11. Held on the lightning fast Armory track, Judith and her Central Park Track Club teammates ran 6:06 which was good for a new American Club Record. Congratulations Judith! You can read more here.

Lynn in New England Runner
Craftsbury Running Program Director Lynn Jennings figured prominently in April's feature on the 1992 World Cross Country Championships held in Boston. '92 was Coach Jennings' third consecutive World Cross Country title, taken on a course she raced throughout her career. Pretty cool stuff - find the article here.

2012 Tuesday Night Trail Series
The Tuesday Night 5k Trail Runs are back for another year of fun! Our weekly 5k Trail Running Series will get underway for summer 2012 starting June 12th. Races are every Tuesday evening starting at 6pm sharp, with registration opening at 5:30pm on the Upper Soccer Field by the Yoga Tent. Participation is free for annual members and running camp participants! More details.

Mud and Ice Quadrathlon 2012 Results
Given the number of running campers that are multi-sport devotees, it seems appropriate to give a shout out to our end of winter quadrathlon (run, paddle, bike, ski). Organized by stalwart Craftsbury staffer Keith Woodward, the event was a resurrection of sorts, as the event's forerunner had been abandoned in the 90s. Find results here, and perhaps some hardy multi-sport athletes may want to mark their calendars for next year's event!
