About Camps

All of our camps are relaxing Vermont vacations coupled with dirt road and trail running plus specific workouts including hills, fartlek and tempo, track work and our beautiful Ridge Run. Full week camps give seven full days to improve your running form with gait analysis and video review, learn how to train intelligently with our training principles presentations and training plan workshop, enjoy presentations on injury management, smart nutrition and long run strategies. We have fun with yoga, hiking, biking and swimming in Big Hosmer. Working on core strength and stability in our circuit training sessions will keep you running healthy with motivation to spare. Re-fuel in the Center's Vermont Fresh Network Dining Hall with its ample, healthy, delicious options. (Get a sense of camp: click thru for a full week's schedule from 2014)

Our three day weekend camps distill the week's offerings into three days. While we can't offer everything the same as our week camps, we condense a lot of the information, runs and drills into a great tune-up for experienced runners, while providing newcomers with a thorough experience of the sport and Craftsbury.

But with that shared foundation in common, we tweak each program to meet the needs of different runners. Can't make the session you have your heart set on? Talk with us about your goals and how we can work with you to meet your needs in another session, even if it seems off-topic. Here are our 2015 dates and the various themes for them:
