2010 Running Camps
Our 2010 schedule includes camps for runners of all abilities. Choose a particular theme or come the week that best fits your schedule. We have great fun while learning about all aspects of distance running and racing. Check-in for all camps will be from 2 to 4 P.M. Make reservations online or call the Craftsbury Outdoor Center at 802-586-7767.
Note: Camps run on Sunday - Saturday.
As always, prices on the running vacations below are all inclusive: double occupancy room w/shared bath, delicious meals, coaching, sauna & all our facilities, one-on-one time with our professional coaching staff, as well as optional field trips.
Minimum program deposit is $250.
Marathon Week
July 11 - 17, 2010 / $929 - A great week of camp designed to prepare all levels of runners for the coming fall and winter marathon season. Come learn about all aspects of training from specific workouts, running form, training principles, the long run, nutrition, strategies, core strength and stability, and much more.
Coached sessions include instructional hill running and interval training in addition to easy runs on the beautiful back roads of Vermont. The 2009 version filled, so act early!
Masters Week
July 18 - 24, 2010 / $929 - Our most popular offering! Come have great fun with the over-40 crowd while learning how to train smart or simply rejuvenate your love of running. Come experience Vermont on vacation while learning about specific workouts, running form, training principles, nutrition, core strength and stability, and motivation to keep you on the road! Sign up early - This one always fills!
Running Camp
August 1 - 7, 2010 / $929 - Our newest offering! This early August camp contains all the great activities above along with professional coaching, meals, lodging, and field trips that our other camps offer with a more general training theme. Runners of all abilities are encouraged to attend this great summer offering.
