$1250 Cash Purse for Marathon from West Hill!09.Nov.2011 We're pleased to announce that West Hill Shop of Putney, VT has generously put up a $1250 purse for the 2012 TD Bank Craftsbury Marathon. The sum will be split between the top three in the men's and women's 50k races this coming January. West Hill has been helping cyclists and skiers from their Putney location since 1971. Stop and think about that: over 40 years of supporting the full spectrum of nordic fun from the stream of elite level athletes southern Vermont has produced to kids and families looking for out the back door fun. Wow! If you're in the neighborhood (they're right off exit 4 on I-91), stop by and say hi. Great gear, great people and a wicked cool solar installation bringing them to net negative energy use!
