NLTRD Club winners

As has become habit, Craftsbury has again provided participating USRA clubs with the opportunity to win a free week of camp to raffle off. This year's winning clubs are: Lions Rowing Club of Marina del Rey, CA, Toledo Rowing Club of OH, and Gainesville Area Rowing in Florida. All three clubs will receive a free week of camp to raffle off, reward volunteers, or give to a promising oarsperson.

How'd they win? Simply by participating in 2007's National Learn to Row Day, sponsored by USRowing and Concept 2, with support from us here. By holding a Learn to Row event in conjunction with USRA and sending the Center their roster from that event, they were entered in the raffle drawing.

Another item to note from this year's NLTRD was a short Craftsbury produced novice intro to rowing. That video is currently hosted on USRowing's Media Center.
