The fierce competition heats up

Pepa v Weiss: Wheel of Torture

In addition to the Head of the Hosmer's weekly competition for bragging
rights on the water, sidebets have become popular, most recently an ab
roller challenge.

The competitors:

Craftsbury Coach, Charlie Weiss
Age:  22
Ht:  6'2"
Wt:  185lbs

Craftsbury Associate Director and resident hardwoman, Pepa Miloucheva
Age:  41
Ht:  5'6"
Wt:  135lbs

The challenge? Maximum number of repetitions on the ab roller - aka the
Wheel of Torture.

Preparation diverged amongst the competitors, with Charlie working actively
on improving his wheel technique and endurance. Pepa tapered hard in advance
of the contest.

The results? In a defiant stroke for masters' athletes everywhere, the wily
veteran Miloucheva obliterated Weiss, stopping after only 81 reps, having
seen that Weiss wasn't getting up off the canvas after a mere 65 reps.
