U23 Trials - Single's heats23.Jun.2010 The SBTC athletes returned to Mercer over the weekend and this morning opened the the U23 Trials with heats for the men's singles. John Graves won his heat (LM1x) with the fastest time of the day for any single - 07:04.355. John Hood finished second in his heat, meaning he'll need to contest the repechage tomorrow afternoon. The top three times of the open weight single are all within a 0.5 second. Provided John makes it through the reps tomorrow (3pm EDT) in good shape, there's no telling what can happen in the final.
