O'Brien 3rd at Owl Creek Chase - Updated

Another big weekend for the Green Racing Project is in the books. 

At home, Clare Egan took on the college girls a the Dartmouth Carnival 5km skate, again at the Trapp Family Lodge due to poor snow coverage throughout much of New England. Clare finished 6th in a tough collegiate field. Results

On the SuperTour, Patrick O'Brien led the men's squad at the Owl Creek Chase in Aspen, CO with a 3rd place finish. It was his second podium of the weekend, with Dylan McGuffin and Patrick sharing the podium in 2nd and 3rd in the classic sprint qualifier on Saturday. Nils Koons also posted a strong finish in the 10km classic with a 6th place finish. The GRP reunites with Pepa and Co. in Madison next weekend. They're looking forward to returning to sea level after a tough stint racing up high. Results

Across the pond, Ida Sargent and the rest of the US women's team posted one of the top career finishes in the 4x5km relay with a 5th place in Nove Mesto, CZE. Ida skied the second classic leg for the team. In the individual event on Saturday, a 15km classic mass start, Ida also skied a strong race to finish in 43rd. Results

In biathlon action, Susan Dunklee saw a tough day on the range in Kontiolahti, Finland. She shot only 50% for 65th place. Results
