Internships 2012

The Craftsbury Sculling Center Student Internship Program is an educational opportunity for highly motivated high school and college students with an interest in working in an ideal setting, serving the sculling community, and increasing their own knowledge of the sport.
Craftsbury Sculling Center provides an intern with housing, meals, and the opportunity to participate in selected portions of Craftsbury's sculling program.
In return, the intern is responsible for 30 hours per week of work, which includes working on the dock during program sessions, assisting the fleet manager, general boathouse maintenance, and in keeping the waterfront area clean. The scheduling of work hours will consider time for participation in selected sculling sessions, lectures, and the Head of the Hosmer.
CSC will employ two interns for each session of the 2012 season - roughly mid-May to the end of September. The lead intern is generally a returning intern who will be on staff for up to 6 calendar weeks, while the first time intern joins CSC for 2 calendar weeks. Interested? You can download the 2012 info here, and email the requested materials directly to interns@craftsbury.com before Feb. 1, 2012. Internship places are limited so early application is encouraged. Late applications will be kept on file, but are unlikely to be considered except in the event of a cancelation. Troy Howell will email acceptance announcements beginning 15 February 2012.
Interested? The application contains all the details and can be found here.
