24 - 30
USSA SuperTour Finals and 30/50k National Championships

Save the date as we close the North American elite racing season with the USSA SuperTour Finals and distance nationals!

Saturday, March 24 – 2.5k/3.5k freestyle prologue
Sunday, March 25 – 10/15k classic mass start
Tuesday, March 27 – Classic Sprint
Wednesday, March 28 – 6k freestyle hill climb, pursuit start based on general classification.
Friday, March 30 – US Distance National Championships:  30/50k freestyle mass start

As was the case the past several years, the racing from March 24-28 will be scored in the tour format, with times from each race being scored cumulatively to determine your standing over the four stages. Wednesday’s closing hill climb will be started as a pursuit based on the time gaps in the overall standings at that point. First person across the line at the top of the hill wins.

This week of high level racing will conclude with the 30/50k US National Championships. While separate from the rest of the week’s racing, this mass start race is an excellent way to cap the season for both racers and spectators alike.

Details around start times, courses, and so forth are being finalized – please check back. We will also be launching a website specific to this event as the fall progresses, full of all sorts of information on all these points and more.
