Early Season Ski Tune-Up Weekend
An all inclusive weekend of fun and informative events, instruction and a race for everyone. Whether you are planning to do the marathon this year or would just like to have more fun on the snow and improve your technique, consider our new Ski Tune-Up Weekend. Free ski lessons, seminars, and activities for all ages and abilities (perfect for marathoners) are designed to get your season off to a good start. Bring the whole family.
Craftsbury houseguests January 2-4 get all these activities included FREE:
- skiing
- exercise / training plan
- waxing clinic
- classic and skate lessons
- campfire / marshmallow roast
- ice skating under the lights
- kids' treasure hunt
- ice fishing
- fun 2, 5, or 10 km mass start Craftsbury Classic Race and 2x2km relay on Sunday

Friday, January 2
Skiing all day
1:00 PM or later Check-in
7:30 PM Training Talk
8:30 PM Campfire with marshmallows and ice skating under the lights
Saturday, January 3
Skiing all day
10:00-10:45 AM Classic ski lessons for adults and kids
11:00-11:45 AM Skate ski lessons for adults and kids
2:00 PM Ice fishing on Big Hosmer Lake
7:30 PM Waxing talk, racing and recreational
8:30 PM Campfire with marshmallows and ice skating under the lights
Sunday, January 4
Skiing all day
10:00 AM "Craftsbury Classic" fun cross-country ski race
10:00-12:00 AM kids' orienteering "treasure hunt
10:45 AM or earlier Check out
