On-line registration for the 2011 Marathon and Tour opens November 1, 2010. Registration will be available up to day of race for an additional $20 above the last online registration fee. The easiest, least expensive way to register is online. For all other forms of registration, a $5 surcharge will be added to the entry fees below. Please check back in the coming months as we add details to the website in advance of registration.
2010 Tour entry fee rollover details:
The rollover offer is open to skiers who registered for the 2010 TD Bank Craftsbury Marathon Tour but were unable to attend the postponement date of March 7th. Your 2010 registration will be rolled over for an entry in the 2011 event. Should you not elect to participate in the 2011 event for whatever reason, there is no further recourse for you to make use of your 2010 registration. Sorry.
At this point, it is not clear how rollover will be handled, as we have not finalized our plans for registration next fall. Despite that, we assure all 2010 Tour registrants who could not make it this year that they will have the option of using their 2010 registration for the 2011 event. Check back in the coming months as we detail the registration plan with respect to rollover.
It's also worth noting the 2011 Tour event may or may not occur the same day as the Marathon - that is still being decided. The 2011 TD Bank Craftsbury Marathon (our 30th annual) will be contested January 29, 2011. Should tour participants wish to change from Tour to Marathon class in the 2011 event, they will be charged the same change fee that they normally would ($10). It's getting to be a common refrain, but watch the website for details on the 2011 Tour event.
