Craftsbury Outdoor Center Day Membership Holders may ski to or from Highland Lodge on the link and not pay for a pass at Highland Lodge. Click for a complete list of privileges.

Want to make the most of a winter day? Come join us at Craftsbury. You can relax, purchase snacks, shop for new equipment or rent equipment for the day at our wood heated day lodge. Our ski shop has lots of skis and other outdoor equipment for enjoying winter to rent or buy. As always, Craftsbury and Albany residents ski for FREE all winter long (though we do ask that you complete the membership form).

Craftsbury's too much fun to come just one day per winter and our pricing on memberships has made a season of skiing much more affordable. Why not make it a winter of fun?

*Family here defined as parents and children living in a single household.

Membership gives the holder:

• Unlimited trail use '09-'10 (Note that not all winter trails are summer accessible, and vice versa).
• Access to Craftsbury Nordic Ski Club (CNSC) programming. CNSC provides introductory ski groups for kids, technique instruction, race training, as well as logistical and technical support to all ages of competitor. Some of this programming carries an additional cost the member will be responsible for - Look here for complete details.
• Ski Rental discount of 20%.
• Access to fun member events throughout the year.
• Craftsbury Member eNewsletter detailing additional member opportunities.
• One free day of skiing at any participating Vermont Ski Areas Association (VSAA) Nordic ski area.

We welcome additional contributions of any amount. Your support will help make possible such projects as the following:

• A lending equipment pool for growing, aspiring racers whose pocketbooks haven't caught up with their desire to ski.
• Travel and race expense scholarships so that financial need never keeps a keen athlete skier from their chance to perform.
• Trail expansion and improvements to the new non-profit Center's 85k of trails.
• School Ski programming for local communities.
• Support for the athletes of the Green Racing Project and the Small Boat Training Center as they chase their Olympic dreams.
• Lots more initiatives to come - all focused on supporting lifelong, healthy activity for all ages.

Membership runs for a year, from November 1 to October 31.

Membership has been priced in hopes of making Nordic skiing an economically feasible reality for more people. The Ski-Meister program presents an opportunity for heavy trail users or those who love the Northeast Kingdom, Craftsbury, and skiing itself to give more to the sport that has given so many of us so much.

Membership is FREE to all Land Owners and Residents of Craftsbury and Albany. Craftsbury requests that all Residents and Landowners complete a membership form to receive their trail ID as well as claim all their benefits. Simply write in "Resident" or "Landowner" on the section regarding payment. Thanks!

¹ CNSC programming here referring to the weekly programming put on by the Craftsbury Nordic Ski Club. CNSC provides introductory ski groups for kids, technique instruction, race training, as well as logistical and technical support to all ages of competitor. This programming includes, but is not limited to: BKL, Introductory Kids' Ski group, Jr/Sr Race group, Masters' instruction - most of which require a separate signup and additional fees - see the CNSC pages for more details.

² Highland Lodge (HL) allows use of their trails as part of a ski to or from the Center along the HL/COC connector provided the user meets the above criteria.

³ HL pass pass deal - annual members as well as residents and landowners are all able to buy a $25 '09-'10 season's pass at Highland Lodge.

Not shown above is the Ski-Meister, or member who's made a donation of at least $100 beyond their minimal membership pricing. The Ski-Meister's Tax-deductible donation supports programming here at the Center and will entitle them to some additional benefit tbd.

Lessons

Private Lesson for one person:   $30
Private Lesson for two people:   $45
Private Lesson for three to eight:  $60

Beginner or expert, our ski school can accommodate your needs. Whether you are race training or standing on skis for the first time, our experienced friendly staff will custom design a classical or skate skiing lesson for you. We specialize in making learning to ski fun for both kids and adults.

Relax, purchase snacks, or rent equipment for the day at our wood heated day lodge. Our ski shop has over one hundred sets of Rossignal no wax and high performance waxable skis for rent. Craftsbury members get 20% off their rentals in '09-'10 along with other benefits!

If you own or are looking to buy your own equipment, we offer poles, bindings, waxes, tools, hats and other clothing for sale.
