Biathlon National Championships

CNSC members Ethan Dressigacker, Mike Gibson, and Hannah Dreissigacker headed west to Mt Itasca in Coleraine, MN for the US Biathlon National Championships. Competing in the Youth Men's division, Mike got 2nd in Thursday's Sprint, 4th in Friday's Pursuit and 5th in Saturday's Mass Start. In a near mirroring of Mike's results, Ethan got a 4th in the Sprint, and two second place finishes in Friday and Saturday's events, while Hannah traded spots through the weekend with fellow collegian Katrina Howe in women's racing.

I can't imagine the level of fatigue these racers are carrying at this point in the season. I've been worn out just writing of their travels and victories. Hopefully some well-deserved rest is next on the agenda.
