Inaugural Spring Tour March 18-20, 2011
Craftsbury's inaugural tour format weekend: 3k classic prologue on Friday afternoon, 15km double pursuit skiathlon mass start on Saturday morning, 100m sprints and BBQ on Saturday evening, and a 20km skate pursuit on Sunday morning. First skier across the line on Sunday wins the overall Spring Tour Title. FIS/USSA points for all three distance races. Come to northern Vermont for a fun event and great end of the season points races. More information at NENSA website.
- Friday: 3km Classic prologue. Start 3:30pm. Women followed by men. Registration/bib pickup opens at 1pm in Cedar basement (same as December EC)
- Saturday: 15km Continuous pursuit, mass start 9:30am women. 11am men. Bib pickup opens 8am.
- Saturday Night: 6pm 100m elimination sprints and BBQ. Registration at Touring Center for sprints opens at 5pm. 15,10,5 bonus seconds in Tour standing for top three finishers.
- Sunday: 10km skate handicap start: women 9:30am. 20km handicap start men 10:30am. Citizen's Spring Fling: Mass start roughly 5 minutes after the final pursuit competitor, approximately 10:45am. 20km.
