Sunday: Arrival Day

  4:00 pm Meet in Cedar Lounge (dress ready to run!)
Campus Tour, "Stretch Your Legs" Common Loop
Dynamic warm-up, 3-4 mile run, post run stretch
Jump in Hosmer Pond
  6:00 pm Dinner
  7:00 pm Welcome Meeting
  8:00 pm Social Time
10:00 pm Quiet Hours Begin  

  

Monday: Exercise Physiology, Hill Running and Training Principles

6:30 am Group Run: Common Loop, trails or Lake Loop
8:00 am Breakfast
9:00 am Exercise Physiology
10:30 am  Field Trip to Willie's General Store, Greensboro
12:00 pm Lunch
1:00 pm Free time! Go for a swim, canoe, kayak, or paddle board, take a nap...
3:00 pm Hill running session. Hill instruction, warm up, drills and stretch 
5:15 pm Cider, wine and cheese social. Dining Hall veranda.
6:00 pm Dinner
7:00 pm Evening class- Training Principles
8:15 pm Social Time
10:00 pm Quiet Hours Begin 

  

Tuesday: Intervals, Injury Prevention and 5K XC race

  6:30 am Light breakfast
  8:00 am Trip to Morrisville track for interval training session, 4 X 400 relay 
Interval Instruction. Video Session. 
12:00 pm Lunch 
  1:00 pm Free time - time to recharge
  2:00 pm Video review, track results review with all coaches 
  3:00 pm Yoga for Runners

  5:30 pm 5k XC series race registration

Wednesday:  Endurathon Day

  6:30 am Easy run choices, optional
  7:15 am Bike / helmet selection
  8:00 am Breakfast, pack food for lunches
  8:40 am Bikers depart for Irasburg. 
Hike Mt. Pisgah, run to Lake Willoughby. 
Swim and wade in Lake Willoughby, enjoy lunches and watermelon. Ice cream at Willoughby 
Lake store! Vans to Irasburg, bike to Craftsbury
  6:00 pm Dinner
  7:00 pm Evening presentation
  8:00 pm Social time
10:00 pm Quiet Hours Begin

  

Thursday: Fartlek/ Tempo Running, Black River, Field Trip

6:30 am Easy run / easy swim- optional
8:00 am Light breakfast
9:30 am Fartlek / Tempo Clinic. Vans to Common. Instruction by Carole.
Warm up, drills and strides. Black River or jump in Hosmer Pond. 
12:00 pm Lunch
1:30 pm Vans leave for Field Trip

Friday: Ridge Run, Coaching Sessions,Yoga and Last Night Festivities

  5:45 am Ridge Run for the Sun 10 miles. The most beautiful run in Vermont!
  8:00 am Breakfast
  9:00 am Free time!
10:30 am Nutrition for Runners
12:00 pm Lunch
  1:00 pm Individual coach / athlete one-on-one consultations 
  4:00 pm Yoga for Runners
  5:15 pm Cider, wine and cheese social. Dining Hall veranda.
  6:00 pm Dinner
  7:15 pm Our Last Evening! Bonfire, Gift Exchange, Last Words and S'mores
10:00 pm Quiet Hours Begin

  

Saturday: Sad to say, the last day....

10:30 am Hand in evaluations in office. Check-out. So-long to new and old friends!
