2016-17 Racing

Craftsbury has always been known for racing, but particularly in the past decade or so, we've grown to embrace racing from the casual, Tuesday Night Worlds' Series, on up to the highest level of Nordic sport with FIS and USSA races like the USSA SuperTour Finals.

This winter we'll be hosting the following races (and will likely act as venue for many more):

Craftsbury Opener, Nov. 27
NENSA Eastern Cup Weekend #1, Dec. 17-18
Craftsbury Marathon, Jan. 30
New England Club Relay Championships, Mar. 18
Craftsbury Spring Fling, Mar. 19

Lodging

And of course, if you're coming up for a race, you may as well make an event out of it! We offer lodging, with all-you-can eat meals included from our Vermont Fresh Network certified dining hall - in addition to your daily trail pass included as well. With trailside lodging options like our new Cabins, you and your family, team or friends can recharge on-site, ready for another day of skiing to follow the event! Check out our rates, and our December Ski and Stay deal - lessons included for a low, mid-week rate.

Camps/Instruction/Programming

Want to get better ahead of your event? We have a variety of ways to accomplish that. December brings us two Masters' Ski Camps, perfect for taking your skills to the next level, Dec. 1-4 and 8-11.

Our Nordic center staff offer lessons daily, a great, flexible option for your schedule. Read more.

And if you're nearby, you can join in our ongoing ski programming from ages 5 to 85! Depending on the group, you'll meet from 2-4 times/week over the winter and be lead by our talented coaching staff thru drills, intervals and everything else you need to get faster, and more efficient. Thanks for stopping by, hope we'll see you on the trails! If you have questions after looking around the website, drop us a line:  skiing@craftsbury.com or stay@craftsbury.com for more lodging specific inquiries.
