Dog and Craftsbury - Summer

Possibly the most famous cycling trail dog (above), Ruby, shows how much fun can be had by both pup and pedaler in a partnership.

But for dogs, owners and the community to coexist safely and happily, we offer the following guidance for all dogs on the Center’s property.

Generally:

1. Dogs must be leashed at all times when they are in public areas.

2. Dog owners must clean up after their pets

3. Pet owners will be billed for any damage caused by their dog while at Craftsbury.

Dogs are prohibited in the following areas:

1. On the deck or inside of the Activity Center

2. On the porch or inside of the Main Office

3. At the entrance or in the walkway of any buildings

4. At the Center’s waterfront (find public access further down Lost Nation Road)

On Summer Trails:

• Dogs must be on a physical leash on the following trails:

  • Woodward’s Wheelie

  • Moo Moo Farm

• E-collars are acceptable elsewhere, with the exception of Ollie’s Folly and Who’s Ollie?, both are dog-free by landowner request.
