Training week of 5/5

EVERYONE:

  • The training plan is here.

  • Registration for summer programs is open via your Craftsbury membership portal, just like in the winter.

  • Rollerski equipment rentals (for juniors and U14s) should be up and running Monday, 5/5, but we’ll send out a heads up when it’s truly online. That will also happen in the Marge portal. Pricing will be similar to past year offerings (viewable here, and no, we’re not sold out, we just don’t want you to order through that platform anymore).

  • Planning/communication: we’re back to the same old thing now that we’ve started junior practice: every Sunday there will be a blog post and updated training plan. We’ll nudge you on Slack when things are updated for the week. Then you fill out the attendance form.

JUNIORS:

  • Winter evals + spring meetings: good work to those of you who have completed your winter program evaluations and signed up for spring meetings! If you haven’t done this yet, please do. The meeting signup is linked from the program eval. If you were a U14 this past winter and are moving into the junior group, your program evaluation won’t prompt you to sign up for a meeting, but we’d still love to check in. The meeting signup is here. Holler at us if you have trouble signing up.

  • Audrey shared training logs with those of you who have kept them in the past and/or those of you who are 2nd year U16s whose emails she could glean. If you didn’t get a training log, email jrskiing to request one and let us know what email account you’d like it shared with. This is a task for you, not for your parents.

  • Clothing reminder: try to always bring clothes—and shoes if possible—for indoors and out, as well as a full change of dry clothes for after practice.

  • Snack reminder: you need these too

U14s:

  • We’ll start on Weds, 5/14! See you then.

BIATHLETES:

  1. Practices for U17+ will start on Wednesday, 5/7.

  2. Practices for U15 will start the following week, on Weds 5/14.

Audrey took a sideways gym picture and Anna was too technologically challenged to rotate it a little.
