TNR #7 Results
Due to soft conditions on the lake, this week’s TNR shifted course from the planned Head of the Hosmer 3k to a 5k running the North 5k Race Course backwards. The format remained freestyle, interval start, as 26 racers took on the new challenge.
Despite the change from a sculling-inspired race, GRP Rowers were able to secure the top positions in the both the men’s and women’s races. Wes Vear was first overall, while Jenifer Forbes was the first woman across the line. Second place overall also went to a GRP rower, with Kevin Meador making his first podium appearance. Sy Keglor snapped up third. Perennial TNRers Trina Hosmer and Gina Campoli finished second and third for the women.
