Caroline Dodd - the 2025 Women's Biathlon Coaching Apprentice

We are thrilled to have Caroline Dodd as the Women’s Biathlon Coaching Apprentice this summer. A Saranac Lake, NY local, she grew up immersed in Olympic culture with Mount Van Hoevenberg as her home venue. She holds a Bachelors in Environmental Science from Cornell University, where she skied in the USCSA division.

Caroline has several years of coaching and sports management experience. She worked as the Nordic Events Coordinator in Lake Placid while coaching high school Nordic in Keene. She went on to work as the Graduate Assistant Coach for Clarkson University, where she helped lead the men’s team to USCSA Nationals victory. At Clarkson, she also earned her Master’s in Environmental Policy. Caroline spent the most recent season as the Assistant Coach for Bates Nordic.

At Craftsbury, Caroline is really enjoying getting to work with athletes of all ages and learning the ropes of biathlon coaching from an array of talented staff. She is looking forward to coaching at Summer Nationals in Jericho and she is hopeful to continue coaching biathlon in the future.
