2025 Genny Tenny Results
Maxfield English taking the 10mile win.
The 2025 Genny Tenny saw a record-matching participation with 127 individuals starting the race to raise funds for the Albany Community Trust (ACT). All proceeds from the event support ACT's efforts in promoting the growth and prosperity of Albany.
The traditional 10-mile race, a staple of every edition, was won by Maxfield English of Wolcott in just over an hour (1:00:52.4). Craftsbury’s Alayne Tetor led the women, finishing about 10 minutes later (1:11:39.7).
In the 5k race, two young athletes claimed victory: 13-year-old Hollis Allen (19:34.1) and Lena Scavone (19:43.8) won the male and female 5k titles for 2025.
Find full results for all distances and disciplines. Special recognition goes to the determined participants of the VT Double Dirt Challenge, who competed in two races in May: the Adamant Half Marathon on the 10th, followed by another 10-mile race today in the NEK.
We are delighted to celebrate another year of partnership with the Albany Community Trust. This non-profit was established in response to the 2013 general store fire. Having completed that significant project, they continue to work towards fostering Albany's growth and development.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, especially our wonderful volunteers! Their generous contribution of time makes events like this possible.
