GRP Snow and Row Transitions

Clare Egan retired this spring, one of 8 athletes who’ve left the GRP this year.

While we announced several groups of incoming Green Racing Project (GRP) athletes, some important transitions were lost in the hubbub of a Craftsbury summer. In addition to the incoming athletes, several athletes ended their chapters with the GRP:

Ski:

Akeo Maifeld-Carucci - Grad school at University of Washington, Seattle, WA.
Adam Martin - Recently married, coding for Amazon and living in the Upper Valley.
Caitlin Patterson - Working at Thornton Tomasetti in the Structures practice in Portland, ME.

Biathlon:

Susan Dunklee - Craftsbury Running Camps Director.
Clare Egan - Living in Lake Placid, NY.
Hallie Grossman - Teaching in Craftsbury, VT and studying for further education certification.

Sculling:

Jen Forbes - Moving to Ohio to become Executive Director of the Cleveland Rowing Foundation.
Bridget Schodorf - Working at the Outdoor Center, continuing in the gardens and with Community Rowing.

We are working to launch a series of alumni updates to check with former GRP athletes, but in the interim wanted to acknowledge the work and contributions everyone on this list made during their time here: as athletes, co-workers, citizens of this place and as people. Thanks so much, and best of luck in your next steps.
