Updated 3 April: COVID Policy

3 April 2023: (Updates since last posting in RED.) Things can change rapidly, so please check back often.

To stay at Craftsbury, all houseguests over the age of 2 must test negative.

Specifically:

  • Take an antigen test within the 24 hours prior your arrival at Craftsbury.
  • Be prepared to show proof of your negative test (either a photo or the test stick) on arrival.
  • Or bring a test kit so that you can test at that time.

Travel Recommendations:

  • We strongly recommend testing before you start your travel to Craftsbury, especially if you have any symptoms or have been exposed to COVID. Be sure it’s worth making the trip.
  • Wear a mask during travel if you are using public transportation. We don’t want sickness to ruin your time at Craftsbury.

While at Craftsbury:

  • If you develop any symptoms whatsoever, please begin wearing a mask immediately, and visit or call the office to get a test kit. Those testing positive will be asked to leave.
  • Please respect the health and safety of other guests and COC staff, by staying away from others if you are sick—even if it’s not COVID.

Masks

Masks are optional in indoor spaces with the exception of the following, where masks will still be required (unless you are instructed otherwise by COC staff):

  • COC vans

People are encouraged and welcome to wear masks across campus if they prefer, are at higher risk, or have been a close contact of a COVID case.

There may be other places where we ask for masks depending on circumstances. Please respect signage and staff direction.

The Activity Center gym re-opens to houseguests, fitness class participants and those who've purchased the Open Gym Add-on pass. The lockerrooms and Gym toilets are available in addition to the toilet trailer.

Anyone with any symptoms of sickness should stay away from others and test for COVID. Even if negative, they should wear a mask in public out of common courtesy, until symptoms go away.

Full vaccination remains mandatory for staff, GRP athletes and any visiting support personnel.

NOTE:

  • Reservations may be canceled at no cost to guests if COVID policy no longer allows you to attend COC.
