Weekend notes: March 6-8

Quin has been keeping Charley’s Cabin warm and ready for all visitors this winter. Stay tuned to see if he’ll be doing so again this weekend.

Weekend notes - March 6-8

No racing.

New England Ski for Light Trip

In addition to a lot more double classic tracked trails this weekend, there will be a Thursday, March 5, Guide Clinic, at 1:00pm. Ski for Light (SFL) is a program that helps visually or mobility-impaired adults learn and enjoy cross-country skiing, and a group will be joining us at the Center this weekend.

If you would like to get involved with the program, there is a guide training opportunity on Thursday, March 5 at 1:00pm. After you're trained, you'll be able to guide a skier on SFL trips. The Thursday on-snow training will be reviewing and covering communication, guiding and instruction basics. For more info or to register your interest, reach out to Joan Holcombe.
