Weekend notes: March 13-15

This was the start of the thaw last Sunday. The situation has deteriorated significantly since on natural snow trails, basically every trail has at least some bare spots, discontinuities and ice. Check current conditions and stay tuned if nature will give us a refresh.

Variable, fast conditions

We suffered a big warm-up this week, and except for the manmade race trails, the resulting conditions are thin and variable. Now more than ever, you’ll want to doublecheck the snow report before heading up.
