We were hit with some atypical weather yesterday afternoon:  thunder, lightning, hail, high winds, tornado watches - all phenomena more familiar in the great plains than New England. At one point, the weather radar over Craftsbury actually made it past orange, blowing right through red, on into purple (a first for us). After the storm blew through, there was some damage, mainly trees down, but for all its bluster, the storm let us off kind of easy.
