A friend passed along UVM's VT Quarterly - the Alumni Magazine - and lo and behold:  there was a familiar face. The Green Racing Project's Amy Glen in technicolor, frozen mid-lunge in what has to be one of the closest races ever at the NCAA championships this past spring in the Women's 15k Classic Race. In the article Glen is quoted:"I knew that whether Sophie or I had gotten it, I’d given it my best effort, which was my real goal,” Glen says. “Whether I was second or first wasn’t going to change how I felt about my race."Is there any better way for a national champion to feel about their race? Perfect. You can read the whole article on the Catamounts' record-breaking national team title online.
