Take 8 dedicated marathon runners, add sultry July days, throw in some crazy thunderstorms every night between 6:30 and 7pm along with endless laughs and stories (and even some temporary tattoos) and you've got this year's marathon week. The runners were dedicated and resilient in the heat. We did our tough sessions at 6:30 am and enjoyed plenty of time in the Black River and Big Hosmer to cool off.  Sports nutritionist Nancy Clark shared a presentation with us and helped lock in the nutritional knowledge runners are interested in.

Carol celebrated her 10th year at Craftsbury, Danielle was on the move from Cabin D to wherever we were gathering next and Michael and Susan showed us yet again that spouses who run together have a whole lot of fun.

Marathon week will be moving to August next year - see you then!
