Recipe of the Month: Mocktail Madness!

by GRP biathlete Margie Freed

There’s not much that is more exciting in the day than having a fun bevvy (aka beverage). The morning can start off with a coffee or tea, during the day you can go for an electrolyte drink or lemon water, and then when evening comes it’s time for something more sophisticated. Here are some alcohol-free mixed drink options that are quick to whip up and work well before dinner as an ‘apéritif’ or after dinner as a ‘digestif’. There’s some new lingo for you to sound fancy, though they really just mean drinks before and after dinner. Check out the recipes and let us know what you think!

All recipes are for 1 drink.

2 oz unsweetened cranberry juice
4 oz ginger beer
Cranberries for garnish
1 T sugar
Slice of orange
1 t orange zest
