[Back to the Club Updates page]
EVERYONE:
The training plan is here and below. Please fill out the attendance form at the start of each week.
Tuesday groups: please read the plan closely, as some have different meeting locations!
Final days of practice: please check your group’s section to see when you will be wrapping up for the spring.
JUNIORS:
World Cup Finals: yep, you can see those Olympians racing in Lake Placid in late March. Anna booked a hotel over there last year. All of you, PLEASE fill out this form ASAP, even if your answer is that you definitely don’t want to go. Those of you planning to attend: you’ll also need to get tickets at some point. Info here. General admission is good.
SuperTour Finals: Craftsbury is the last stop of the year for the highest level of domestic racing! Info here. We’re hoping to get a whole pile of you racing in Saturday’s relays and some of you may enjoy trying a 20k Sunday. Registration here.
Oak Hill trip billing: will happen this week.

Reminder: toggle to the “25-26 year” tab at the bottom of the training plan to get a better sense of what’s ahead this winter.
Final day of practice: hooo boy; always tricky to nail down. Y’all start to peter out as spring sports start up. We’ll continue to have 5 practices/week through 3/15 and then we’ll pare down slightly for the last 2 weeks of March. Then we do not train together in April. Summer training starts in May.
About summer: this year we’ll be requiring some degree of summer training for kids who want to do the Eastern Cup circuit in the winter. We’re also going to begin phasing out rollerski equipment rentals for juniors. More to come on both of those subjects, but consider this a heads up.
U14s:
See the note above in the junior section about World Cup Finals. Priority goes to juniors for this one but if we have space we’ll take along some U14s if you’re really pumped about it! Go ahead and fill out the form if you’re into it.
BKL Festival: hopefully you got a big ol’ info email from Audrey. If not, please reach out.
BKL race at Memphremagog Trails on Tuesday, 3/10: more details to come, but it’ll be sometime around 4:30 and is sure to be fun. Mark your calendars and stay tuned!
Final day of practice: we’ll continue to have 5 practices/week through 3/15 and then we’ll pare down slightly for the last 2 weeks of March. There’s no organized training for anyone in April. U14s typically start up in late May. You’re encouraged to do a spring sport—mix it up!

Coach Rick has earned the moniker “Renaissance Rick” because he seems to have a broader skill set than anyone we know. So we weren’t really surprised when, at the last Eastern Cup, he picked up a random guitar at the inn and started busting out the tunes.
