Adam Martin, Caitlin Patterson and Alex Lawson all took podium places in the NENSA Invitational, the final rollerski competition of the year. This point to point classic rollerski race featured many of the best professional and collegiate racers in New England, and served as the finale for NENSA’s rollerski race series.

Martin’s victory came in dramatic fashion. Adam lost a wheel off his rollerski, and ran up the final climb to secure the win. Braden Becker finished 6th, and Akeo Maifeld-Carucci placed 7th. GRP alum Ben Lustgarden nipped Becker at the line to squeak into 5th.

The GRP women took 2nd, 3rd and 4th ranks thanks to strong performances by Caitlin Patterson, Alex Lawson and Margie Freed. Patterson and Lawson were separated by only four seconds at the finish.

The GRP ski team will now be hoping for snow as they prepare for the first World Cup and Supertour races of the season in early December.
