GRPRow wraps up '21 with a win at USRowing's Fall Speed Order

For the final regatta of 2021, the GRP Row group headed down to Lake Mercer to participate in the USRowing Fall Speed Order.
The Speed Order is unlike any other event of the year, since it is split up into three parts. First, there is a 6k erg test which seeds the start order for a 2x1900m stake turn race up and down the 2k course of Lake Mercer, where the finish order from that event determines lineups for afternoon 2k races in the 2x or the 1x (dependent on finish position).
After all the testing, GRP Sculler Emily Delleman put down a dominant performance, finishing 1st ahead of the next best finisher by 4.5 seconds with a time of 15:23.8. Grace Joyce was third and Jacob Plihal led the GRP men with a 5th place.
