GRPRow at Head of the Charles '21

Grace checks her course en route to a 4th place in the Champ Single.

This past weekend our Craftsbury Green Racing Project rowers headed down to Boston, MA to race at the Head of the Charles Regatta, the largest two-day regatta in the world (1900 boats in 61 events!). With the 2020 event cancelled last year due to COVID, it was exciting for the team to be able to revisit the Charles this year.

In addition to lots of alumni boats and larger team boat slots, GRPRow had entries focused around the singles events.

In the Men’s Championship 1x:
Ezra Carlson
Jacob Plihal
Luke Rein
Lucas Bellows
Webster Thompson

For the Women’s Championship 1x:
Grace Joyce

Emily Froehlich
Hannah Fitts

And in the Club 1x, Jack Reid and Bridget Schodorf.
