Training week of 6/8
[Back to the Club Updates page]
EVERYONE:
Y’all should be registered for programs by now and have a good understanding of how things work. If you don’t, holler at us.
JUNIORS:
Great job to everyone who did the Genny Tenny!
End-of-season survey and goal-setting: if you haven’t had a one-on-one meeting with a coach yet, reach out to schedule a time. No more sign-up sheet.
It’s going to be HOT this week: come prepared with fluids, electrolytes, and good fueling/hydration in the school day leading up to practice.
Team training camp in August: is not going to be in Lake Placid. It’s gonna be in Bethel, ME. Preliminary trip information is here. Please read through that packet! We’re instituting some requirements this year about rollerski comfort and experience to help keep everyone safe on the roads.
The summer schedule shift: is coming, on June 18 (a Thursday). Remember 8:30am practices?!
U14s:
Rollerskiing:
Please read through the new equipment rental policy. Not much has changed for U14s, but worth to know what’s coming as a future junior.
You only need skate rollerski gear! If you’re renting it from us, we’ll set you up with it when you roll in for your first rollerski practice.
Way to step it up and just dive right into some truly hard junior workouts! We’re impressed.
