[Back to the Club Updates page]
EVERYONE:
Attendance form! Please fill this out weekly to help us plan.
Nathan Suter Memorial Track Meet: is coming up in less than two week on Friday, August 21. More info at https://www.instagram.com/p/DbdbgsuiDeP/. This will supplant our Friday practices that day.
Two more weeks of the summer schedule. Whoa. On 8/24 we’ll shift to the fall schedule, which is outlined here.
JUNIORS:
Kinda funky week: with over half the team in Bethel this week and coaches bouncing around all over the place, the schedule for the on-campus crew has some small tweaks. Mostly that Jr1s will not have Weds pm strength or Thurs am practice, and there’s not rollerskiing on the schedule (it’s hard to run with a diverse cohort but limited staff).
Sports psychology - mental performance counseling sign-ups: You can sign up here. These are free and open to anyone on our team.
Bethel camp information is still here.
U14s:
Way to keep hopping into the junior workouts and crushing it!
BKL:
Attendance form? Please? Please!
Bring a change of clothes + towel to summer practices. We often end up in the water if it’s hot. We don’t often take the time to change beforehand. It’s a good idea to have extra clothes.
MASTERS/ADULTS:
Did anyone find the treasure in Pepa’s Sunday morning hunt?!
BIATHLETES:
Practice changes this week:
Tuesday U14/Jr practice will be integrated in ski practice (L3 running combos). Be on the range ready to zero at 8:30.
Wednesday Jr practice will be AFTER ski practice at 10:30am, on foot.
No 1-on-1s this week. Final option for the summer will be Aug 20.
Race Opportunities:
Singletrack Shootout novice races are scheduled for Aug 23 & Oct 4. These are suitable for all of you. Preregistration required.
