•    Try your hand at rowing

•    Hike scenic trails

•    Learn the basics of mountain biking

•    Fuel your everyday energy with fun, approachable strength training

•    Test your focus with a beginner-friendly biathlon lesson

Leave the pressure at home and spend a weekend empowering your body, soaking in nature, and connecting with a fantastic crew of like-minded women. All fitness levels welcome!

This is our inaugural residential Women’s Fitness Camp, and lodging and meals on-site are part of the experience (see the FAQ below for details). As noted, $656 camp price includes programming and rentals – lodging is separate. Registration is phone only – call 802-586-7767.

FAQs

What are the accommodations like, and what are my options?

Choose from three lodging styles: Cedar Lodge (dorm-style rooms, shared or private bath), Lakeside Cottages (rustic private rooms near the pond), or Hillside Cabins (flexible sleeping arrangements with a mini kitchen). All options include three daily meals. See craftsbury.com/lodging for photos, layouts, and booking.

Do I have to stay on site?

We're asking everyone to stay on site for this inaugural residential camp, same as our running and sculling camps.

Will I need a roommate?

Dorm-style lodging is typically shared; let us know at registration if you're coming with a friend you'd like to room with, or if you'd prefer a private room (availability and pricing vary by lodging type).

What fitness level do I need?

All fitness levels are welcome. Sessions are designed to be approachable for newcomers to each activity while still offering a good workout.

What are the rentals?

All the hardware you need for camp activities is included:

•    Rowing — boats and oars from our Boathouse fleet, same as our sculling camps.

•    Mountain biking — Cannondale front-suspension bikes (kids' through 29"), helmets included; see our bike rentals & shop info page for the fleet.

•    Biathlon — rifles and ammunition are provided at no charge as part of the lesson; see Biathlon Lessons.

What should I plan on bringing myself?

Trail-ready shoes or hiking boots, hiking poles if you use them, comfortable athletic wear for strength training, hiking/running, cycling and rowing, a water bottle, and layers for cool October mornings in Vermont. A swimsuit if you'd like to use the pond. Bikes, helmets, boats, and biathlon gear are all provided.

What about roller skiing?

Roller skiing isn't part of the camp's official programming, but experienced roller skiers are welcome to bring their own gear and use our trails on their own time. Info.

Do I get a discount if I bring my own gear?

Unfortunately not.

Can my dog come?

Yes! Well-behaved dogs are welcome under our standard dog policy — leashed in public areas, kept out of the Activity Center and Dining Hall, and limited to specific pet-friendly rooms (let us know when you reserve). Your dog is welcome to join the trip, but not the workouts — canine involvement in camp programming will be minimal to nonexistent.

How do I get to Craftsbury?
