CCD at Woodstock

Sixteen Craftsbury Cycling Development (CCD) riders headed to Woodstock this past Saturday, September 19, for the Mt. Peg Enduro. Woodstock is the third stop on this year's Vermont Youth Cycling calendar.

The biggest showing came in Cat A Boys, where seven CCD riders lined up in a stacked 41-rider field: Bowman Suddaby (20th), Reuben Campbell (22nd), Oryon Hart (29th), Blaze Robens (31st), David Stevenson (37th), Oakley Crawford (39th), and Zayden Greiner (40th).

On the girls' side, Silvia Earlandt kept up her steady form with a 9th in Cat B Girls, and the Abbene and Suddaby siblings each had a rider in the top 10 of Cat A Girls — Hadley Abbene (8th) and Lillian Suddaby (9th) — while Pippa Abbene went 11th in Cat B. In the Junior category, Ben Cotterill (13th, his second race) and Fox Modry (24th, his third race) both finished solidly in a 26-rider field. Cat C Boys saw three CCD riders on course: Jasper Valcour-Greenia (46th), Jordan Dalton (52nd, in his first-ever MTB race), and Hunter Wood, who rounded out the field in his second-ever MTB race.
